How Long Does It Take to Build A New Modular Home In Iowa?
There are two parts to building a new modular home: Planning and Construction.
Planning
Average Time: 3-4 Weeks
Planning involves finding the right floor plan and then making your personal changes. Sometimes our customers love the floor plan as is and sometimes they want to make changes that better fit their lifestyle. Planning also involves choosing colors. We have experienced Home Planning staff that guides our customers through the choices. Some customers love this and some are nervous. Our staff break things down into simple steps that make it organized and enjoyable.
Construction
Average Time: 14-16 weeks
Once you complete the planning stage and approve final prints and selections, construction starts. Most of our customers choose our Full Service construction. We take care of everything. We start by digging the basement, pouring the foundation walls and setting the home. We then start on garage build, interior finish and completion of mechanicals, septic/sewer, and water. Once the home is complete, we do a final walk through with our customers to make sure everything is done right.
